Creating a wallet in Zerion is your first step toward entering the world of web3. In this guide, we will walk you through the process of creating your first Zerion wallet with the Zerion mobile app or Zerion Extension.
Mobile
ℹ️ The Zerion mobile app is available for both Android & iOS devices.
Search for "Zerion" in the Google Play Store (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS) and install the app.
Launch the Zerion app and tap Create New Wallet to set up a new wallet. If you want to import an existing wallet, you can check this guide instead.
Set up and confirm a passcode, which will be used to unlock your wallet for secure access.
After creating your wallet, you'll be prompted to back up your recovery phrase. This is essential, as it’s the only way to restore access to your wallet if you lose your device, uninstall the app, or forget your passcode.
In a secure place? Select Back up (~1 min) to view and safely store your recovery phrase.
Not secure? Select I will take a risk and be sure to back it up as soon as possible. You will be prompted later to do it, or you can do it by going into App Settings > Manual backup.
Your Zerion wallet setup is complete! Remember to safeguard your recovery phrase to keep your wallet secure.
Extension
ℹ️ The Zerion Extension is supported on Chrome, Brave and Arc.
Visit our download page to install the Zerion Extension on your web browser.
After installation, you should be redirected to the Welcome Page. On the Welcome Page, select Create New Wallet
. If you want to import an existing wallet, you can check this guide instead.
