Zerion allows you to manually back up your wallet’s recovery phrase by displaying it so you can write it down — a simple, offline way to secure access to your crypto. This article explains how to do this in both the browser extension and the mobile app.
Extension
You can backup your recovery phrase in the Zerion extension via two methods:
During Wallet Creation: After setting up your Zerion extension, you'll be prompted to back up your recovery phrase.
From your Zerion extension Settings: If you haven’t backed up your recovery phrase yet, go to Settings. You’ll see a warning prompting you to back it up, click Backup Now to proceed.
Once your recovery phrase is revealed, carefully write down all 12 words in the correct order on a paper or notebook.
Store your recovery phrase in a safe place where no one else can access it. Remember: anyone who has your recovery phrase can take control of your funds.
Mobile
