Troubleshoot Pending Transactions in Zerion

Fix pending transactions in Zerion by speeding up, canceling, or clearing them to get your transactions flowing smoothly again.

Updated yesterday

If your transaction is stuck in a pending state, it’s likely due to low network fees. Network conditions can change quickly, leading to delays. Because transactions must be processed in order (based on the transaction nonce), a stuck transaction can block all future transactions on the same network until it’s confirmed or dropped.

In this article, we’ll walk you through how to speed up or cancel a pending transaction, or clear all pending transactions (which may be easier if you have several stuck) using the Zerion Extension or Mobile App.

Speed up or cancel a transaction in Zerion Extension

  1. Open Zerion Extension and go to the History tab.

  2. Click on the pending transaction you want to speed up or cancel.

  3. Choose either:

    1. 🚀 Speed up: This option allows you to accelerate the transaction by increasing the fee included in the transaction.

    2. ❌ Cancel: This option allows you to cancel the transaction before it is confirmed. This also requires a gas fee.

  4. Click on Confirm.

Clear all pending transactions in Zerion Extension

If you have multiple pending transactions, you can clear them locally to reset your next transaction to the correct nonce:

  1. Go to Settings in the Zerion Extension.

  2. Navigate to Developer Tools.

  3. Click Clear Pending Transactions.

This won’t cancel transactions on-chain, but it removes them from the interface so you can send a new transaction with the correct nonce, which can replace the pending ones.

Speed up or cancel a transaction in Zerion Mobile App

  1. Open Zerion mobile app and scroll down to Activity (if you have the Activity widget enabled), or go to your wallet and navigate to History.

  2. Tap on the pending transaction you want to speed up or cancel.

  3. Choose either:

    1. Speed up: This option allows you to accelerate the transaction by increasing the fee included in the transaction.

    2. Cancel: This option allows you to cancel the transaction before it is confirmed. This also requires a gas fee.

  4. Click on Confirm.

Clear all pending transactions in Zerion Mobile App

To remove all pending transactions from your history:

  1. Go to Zerion App Settings.

  2. Navigate to Developer Tools.

  3. Tap Clear Pending Transactions.

Just like in the extension, this won’t cancel transactions on-chain, but it clears them from the interface so you can resend transactions with the correct nonce, which can replace the pending ones.
