This guide shows you how to connect your Ledger hardware wallet to Zerion on both the browser extension and mobile app. When you use Ledger with Zerion, your recovery phrase stays securely stored on your Ledger device, it’s never exposed or shared.
Before you start
Make sure your Ledger device is running the latest firmware and that the Ethereum (ETH) app is up to date. Connect your device to Ledger Live to check for updates. For detailed steps, refer to this Ledger article.
Extension
ℹ️ The Zerion browser extension supports all Ledger hardware wallets via USB, including Nano S, S Plus, X, Stax, and Flex.
You can connect your Ledger device to the extension whether you're onboarding or already using Zerion extension:
Connect your Ledger device via USB
Unlock it with your PIN code
Open the Ethereum (ETH) app, you should see “Application ready”
Click Connect in Zerion
Your Ledger will be detected, select your device
Choose the address(es) you want to import. Don’t see your old address? Switch to the Legacy path.
Click Continue to add your Ledger address.
Your Ledger wallet is now connected, and you can securely manage your assets using the Zerion Extension.

Mobile
ℹ️ Only Ledger Nano X is supported on mobile via Bluetooth. Other models aren’t supported, but you can still track your portfolio using a watch-only address.
Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
You can connect your Ledger device to whether you're onboarding or already using Zerion extension:
Select Ledger.
Unlock your Ledger Nano X with your PIN code.
Open the Ethereum (ETH) app (you should see “Application ready” on the device)
Tap Connect to Ledger. The Zerion app should detect your Ledger Nano X.
Choose the address(es) you want to add. Can’t find your old address? Try switching to the Legacy path
Tap Continue to finish importing your address(es)
You can now safely manage your assets with your Ledger device together with the Zerion mobile app.
