Zerion is a self-custodial (non-custodial) wallet, which means you are always in full control of your assets. Unlike banks or centralized exchanges, Zerion never holds your funds.
Blockchain transactions are final
Once confirmed on the blockchain, transactions cannot be canceled, refunded, or reverted. If funds are sent to the wrong address, the wrong token is purchased, or a scam occurs, Zerion cannot reverse the transaction or reimburse lost assets.
What this means for you
As the sole custodian of your wallet:
Always double-check wallet addresses before sending funds.
Always do your own research before using a dApp, interacting with a smart contract, or buying a token.
