Bridging tokens refers to transferring assets from one blockchain network to another (for example, from Ethereum to Solana).

Zerion's native Bridge feature simplifies this process by aggregating multiple bridge providers, ensuring you get the best rates and a smooth experience. This guide walks you through how to bridge tokens across supported networks using the Zerion browser extension and mobile app.

Bridge Crypto with the Zerion extension

  1. Open the Zerion Extension and select the wallet you want to use.

  2. Click the Bridge button.

  3. Choose the network you want to bridge from and the network you want to receive tokens on.

  4. Select the token you want to use and enter the amount in the 'Pay with' field, then choose the token and amount you want to receive in the 'Receive' field.

  5. Bridges are a two-step process on Ethereum ecosystem. You’ll first need to approve the token, allowing the Zerion router to access and use it for the bridge transaction. except when bridging a native asset (e.g., ETH on Ethereum), or if you are bridging from Solana.

  6. Once approved, submit your bridge transaction by clicking on Sign and send.
